Pre-Collegiate Partnership

The Pre-Collegiate Partnership consists of Colorado's pre-collegiate service providers, P-12 administrators and counselors, higher education admissions, financial aid and student services officials, community-based youth organizations, business and workforce development groups and individuals, public agencies and policy-makers.

  •  Vision Statement - Vision, goals and strategies statement for the Pre-Collegiate Partnership.

  • Pre-Collegiate Services — Colorado is home to nearly 100 groups and programs that help students plan, apply and pay ;for post-secondary studies. A directory of service providers, updates and Pre-Collegiate Conference information is provided.

  •  Strategic Advisory Committee (SAC) — The SAC is a broadly representative group of prominent stakeholders that meet annually to advise the Department of Higher Education on Partnership progress and initiations.


  • Strategic Advisory Subcommittees — The Strategic Advisory Subcommittees exist to provide feedback and guidance on relevant issues facing the Strategic Advisory Committee, the Pre-Collegiate Partnership and the College In Colorado campaign. There are currently four working subcommittees:

    • Database — The Database Subcommittee is part of the state-mandated effort to create a statewide database that records student progress from K-12 through college and beyond, as well as recording pre-collegiate services received along the way.
    • Communications — The Communications Subcommittee is charged with developing ideas and strategies for improving communications and information-sharing among all members of the Pre-Collegiate Partnership and its constituents.
    • Networking — The Networking Subcommittee shares best practices on topics relating to pre-collegiate preparation and college access.
    • Minority Outreach — The Minority Outreach Subcommittee advises the Colorado Commission on Higher Education, the Pre-Collegiate Partnership and College In Colorado on effective means of reaching students, parents and communities of color with the message of college access and success for all.
