House Bill 05-1027 directs the Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE) to provide families of students who have taken the 11th grade ACT test with information regarding:
- The remediation "Cut-scores" in reading, writing and math that expose students to the risk of having to take costly remedial courses in college before they can graduate
- Availability of remedial instruction
- Opportunities to develop a plan to address the Higher Education Admission Requirements
These letters were mailed to parents in August 2007. English and Spanish versions are available.
