- 9Kids Who Care
9Kids Who Care recognizes outstanding Colorado youth for their volunteer activities and contributions to family, school and community. Each of the nine winners will be recognized at a ceremony in Denver at 9News studios and will receive a $900 scholarship from College In Colorado. Nominations closed November 28, 2008; watch here for details on the winners!

850 KOA and College In Colorado want to give you one of three $850 scholarships for college! Take virtual campus tours of Colorado colleges to find the link to the scholarship application and a free Frutista Freeze coupon.
- The CollegeInvest Grandparents Scholarship Contest
A total of ten $2,500 college savings plans will be awarded across Colorado in the CollegeInvest Grandparents Scholarship Contest. Grandparents: to enter, submit a short essay explaining your hopes and dreams for your grandchild and how a college education will help make those dreams come true. If your essay is selected, you could win $2,500 for your grandchild’s college education! Visit CollegeInvest to read all about the requirements and to enter.
- The CollegeInvest Opportunity Scholarship
CollegeInvest will award $1,000 scholarships to 38 randomly- selected undergraduates who will attend a Colorado institution of higher education full-time in Fall of 2008. There are no GPA requirements and no essays to write. Apply online at www.collegeinvest.org.
- The CollegeInvest Service Scholarship
27 scholarships of $6,000 each, awarded over a two-year period, will be given to Colorado students who give back to their community. The scholarships will be awarded to randomly-selected undergraduates who will attend a Colorado institution of higher education full-time. Winners must agree to complete 40 or more hours of community service each year in 2008 and 2009. Apply online at www.collegeinvest.org.
- Teach Grant Program
The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides grants of up to $4,000 per year to students who intend to teach in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families.
The first TEACH Grants will be awarded to eligible students for the 2008-2009 school year. In exchange for receiving a TEACH Grant, you must agree to serve as a full-time teacher for at least four academic years in a high-need field in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves low-income students.
